When it comes to the black community, there are lies that are spoken so many times they almost become facts. They’re reproduced by talking heads, celebrities and politicians so many times that the same conversations eventually end up in barbers shops and at the kitchen table. Well, here at BMWK we’ve decided to expose several flat-out untruths and narratives that are continually being told and sold to our community.
For Black History month 2014 instead of reflecting on our past we want to take a better grasp of our future by educating the masses. Over the next few weeks, we’ll debut a new web series that features our good friend and activist Janks Morton as we share Truths You Won’t Believe.
