It worked for me. In fact, I met my husband a few months after I completed my board. Now, I want to help you!

So how did my vision board help me attract my dream man and marry him a year later? And how can you use one to manifest your man? Let me give you step-by-step instructions.
Get a snapshot of your future with the right pictures
A vision board works because it helps you visualize the future you desire. You need a strong, compelling picture of the life you want to live.
Go the bookstore, grab some magazines, and flip through them. Some of the pictures you’ll want to put on your vision board may include:
- The gown you want to wear to your wedding
- The place you’ll go for your honeymoon
- The home you want to live in
- The activities you want to do as a couple while you’re dating
- Anything else that triggers you to have faith for your future relationship
Activate your vision with words
Many people skip this important step when creating a vision board; but in addition to inspiring images, you need words that will bring your dream to life. Choose words and phrases from magazines that represent the life you want to live with your future husband and the emotions you will experience when you meet him.
I also recommend you keep a journal that’s inspired by your vision board. When you write, you activate the part of your brain that is responsible for focusing on what you want. By journaling about your vision, you’re telling your brain to pay attention to your dreams!
In my journal, I described what my husband would be like. I didn’t focus on how tall he’d be or what he’d do for a living.
Instead I described in great detail the kind of family he would come from, what his personality would be like and the things we’d enjoy doing together. I also wrote down descriptions. I made sure to write in the present tense, as though it were already happening.
When we were in the middle of planning our wedding, I shared what I had written with my husband. We both were amazed at how accurate my descriptions of him, his family and even our reception hall were
Put your board where you can see it
Don’t make a vision board and then stuff it in your drawer. Let me repeat. Don’t stuff the man of your dreams in a drawer. Place your board in an area where you can see it regularly. Make sure it’s in a space that’s clutter-free, and that’s associated with positive emotions. You want to look at it and smile, not look at it and become filled with dread or overwhelming feelings.
Take action
You can get stuck in woo-woo land with vision boards. Most people just use them to feel inspired, but you need to use them to inspire you to take action. The board won’t make a man magically appear, but it can help you become more magnetic so you attract Mr. Right. You’ll have more clarity about the kind of man that’s right for you and you’ll fixate your focus on all the reasons why your vision is possible.
Also, the board will help you take stock of where you are now and the changes you’ll need to make to get where you want to be.
For example, if you never leave your home on the weekends, visit the same grocery stores every week and travel the same route to work, it will be impossible to meet anyone (unless you want to marry the pizza delivery guy)!
Let your vision board guide and inspire you to get out of your comfort zone, write down the specific places you need help, and what you are willing to do to get to your dream.
Instead of writing the typical “Perfect Man List,” create a vision board. It may help you manifest the man of your dreams much faster!
