5 Best Places to Meet a Saved and Single Man in 2016

Okay, so lets be honest. The place to meet a good man, let alone a Godly man is becoming more and more challenging. On each of our trainings we do with singles, this is the biggest complaint we have.

Where are all the good, saved, and single men at?

As a male, I can reassure you they are out there you just need to be in the right place in order to be found by them.  A Godly man knows what he wants, and when he sees it he will make his intentions known.  When it was time for me to start looking for a wife, I stopped playing games and was very upfront with what I was looking for. So, be encouraged

It is not your job to find, but it is your job to be found.   As the man’s challenge is to find a quality woman and pursue her, a woman’s challenge is to be patient as she positions herself to be found by a quality man.

Remember nothing is impossible for God.

Here is a list of places where you possibly might bump into destiny.

1) Church

Now, I’m going to start with this one because it’s a given, but also the most convoluted. Your primary purpose when going to church should not be bumping into a good man. It should be to give honor to God, and fellowship with other like believers.

The awesome thing about meeting someone at church is you are more than likely going to have a lot of core values in common. I have many friends that were worshipping in the same church together for years before they noticed one another, and ended up getting married. So, your spouse could already be there but you just haven’t noticed one another yet.

2) Through Other Godly Friends

Did you see my key word there? Godly. Bad company corrupts good character according to 1 Corinthians 15:3. Show me a persons friends and I will show you their future. Do not allow someone who is not living a God honoring lifestyle to set you up with someone that is their friend.

More than likely that person is not going to be a person worth your time. But, if you have a friend that keeps good company that tells you about a friend of theirs then by all means be open to meeting them. This is actually how most people meet their spouses. So, who you keep as company in your life is very important.

3) Conferences/Events

Just because your single doesn’t mean you can’t travel to events or attend conferences. This is another great opportunity to get out of your normal routine and get around people you’re not normally around. But, make sure the event is drawing the right people so you don’t get caught up with a counterfeit.

4) In Public

Yes, it can still happen. You can still be standing in the grocery line and happen to be standing in front of someone that strikes conversation with you. I am not trying to push a fairy tale on you, but I want you to always remember nothing is impossible with God.

5) Online

I saved the best for last. Why? Because, for one, this is how my wife and I met and number two it’s becoming a lot more accepted way to meet someone. My wife and I didn’t meet on a Christian dating site. We met on Facebook. We were complete strangers that were a part of a prayer group. One day I happened to see her post something on her page that drew my attention.

I eventually ended up messaging her thanking her for the post she did. 8 Months later after eventually following one another on other social media channels and becoming a little more acquainted with each other I messaged her again.

This time to see if she would be interested in getting to know one another better.  Long story very short, we were married a little less than a year later.   I would have NEVER expected to meet my wife online especially on Facebook. I

have so many friends and couples in our audience that are meeting through mutual connections on Facebook. Just be open once again, and let God work.
