As a relatively new husband, I try to do a good job at following my “honey do” list. We’re still merging lives so I’m sure there are times I fall short, but this is a work in progress in which I’m getting better daily. One thing I knew before we got married was that there were some things I would need to handle and not wait on her to ask me to do.

Thanks so much for this article, especially the emphasis on security. Women have come a long way and are a lot more independent then in the past. In the majority of households, we are even the main breadwinner. But we still need to feel that our husbands have our back and are there for us to lean on.
