All of this year, I have been participating as a blogger in the Hallmark Life is a Special Occasion campaign. And, I have truly enjoyed participating in the campaign as it has reminded me that every day is a special occasion with the ones we love. It reminds me to make the most of every little moment that we have together.
One of the biggest things that this campaign and Hallmark has done is to remind me of how important it is to provide consistent love, encouragement, and affirmation to our kids (and our spouses.)
Since school is well underway for pretty much all of our kids, Hallmark is going to give you a special Back to School package that will allow you to provide words of encouragement to your kids throughout the school year. Two lucky BMWK readers will win the following:
- 1 Nugget Interactive Story Buddy – “Nugget is a loyal and energetic puppy who loves to spend time with his family. Little ones will get a kick out of hearing him respond as you read key words aloud from his included book.” We all know that reading with our kids every night is important to them developing strong reading skills. Nugget will make the reading process that much more enjoyable.
The bug is soft and snuggly, not creepy-crawly. You can use it to load up your little bug with warm wishes and sweet surprises for kids of all sizes. We loaded bug ’ems with treats for our girls after their first week of school.
Use these Itty Bitty greetings to slip an encouraging word into your child’s bookbag or lunch box.

I have 3 little girls who are told daily they are beautiful. My girls are also told they can do anything they desire. If its playing a male dominated sport or being an artist they can do it. I also make sure i tell them to pray when they are afraid or worried about anything. Teaching them to let God have control. Last but not least I tell them i love them as much as I can.

I remind my kids several days how well they are doing with their school work and I proud I am of them. I also praise them for their good manners and when they remember to do their chores.
