Like the message but it’s so contrived. I wish it was more organic.
Aliriea06 says
why is a 10 yr old listening to lil wayne anyways and steve harvey cuss too!! nice message though but it should be for all rappers!
Anonymous says
Cute, but why are they singling out Lil Wayne? This should have been addressed to all rappers.
HONEYSICKLE29 says
TO EACH THIER OWN.. I REALLY DONT THINK THESE CHILDREN SHOULD BE LISTENING TO WAYNE TO KNOW WHAT HE SAYING.. PARENTS NEED TO MONITOR WHAT THEIR CHILDREN LISTEN TO.. I FOR ONE DONT BELIEVE IN CENSORSHIP,NOR DO I SEE HOW WAYNE IS HURTTING ANYONE.. MY SON AND I BOTH LOVE WAYNE’S MUSIC AND WILL BE ATTENDING HIS I AM MUSIC TOUR MARCH 26 IN PHILLY WHICH IS SOLD OUT SO HE DOING SOMETHING RIGHT..
Soulove6_5 says
The Music is every where, you cant help but to hear it. True they are 9 & 10. but how do you hide or escape society. one of the most prfound statements i’ve ever heard, came from hitler,
“Give me the music of a nations youth & i’ll control that nation!” from a spiritual aspect thats deeper then we think! we cant say they shouldn’t be listening to it, when thats all thats around them. God bless
Jacquelineburnz says
All kids do not have parents and this is not the 1950’s anymore. These rappers teach young men that misogny is the norm and that a real man proves himself by degrading women (esp Black women) Let Wayne and other rappers make degrading comments about Jews//Jewish women and see if they/ he gets played ?????
JUSME says
These little ladies cannot help but listen to little what-ever-he-is! That crap is blasted everywhere! Mr. Harvey may curse, but when has he talked down about his own people???? We have to start fixing this somewhere and I am glad they started at the TOP with the #1 sellout to his folks. It is well produced appearantly from a grass roots source (if it looked homegrown with a cheap camera you would dis about that).
Kay says
wow after listening to that you all are still lost…smh!!!!
Bigplayray112 says
For all those that are critizing the messenger / method of delivery, please sit back and listen to the lyrics. This could have been sung by a 40 year old woman, but there is a reality that his lyrics impact a 10 yr old. Even on a clean version – these kids are smart enough to figure out what is being said.
While I know that Wayne is “selling entertainment”, there are those who see art /reality in similar terms.
Bigplayray112 says
typo = criticizing
HONEYSICKLE29 says
NO ONE IS LOST HERE EVERYONE JUST HAS A OPINION… I UNDERSTAND EXACTLY WHATS BEING SAID BUT AT THE SAME TIME BEING CLOSE TO SOME MUSIC ARTIST I UNDERSTAND THAT THEIR MUSIC IS A FORM OF EXPRESSION..
The Queen says
It’s a shame that rap/hip-hop has turned to trash…thank you, little girl, for taking a stand!
Reggie Williams says
Wow and bravo, even if contrived, to the 10 year old queen who taking a front row seat into reclaiming her image.
Little kids shouldn’t be listening. How can they not when (let me stop there). Reclaim your image or either become a claimed by someone’s elses image.
Little Queen, keep do you, because as you stated in the lyrics you desire to “SERVE.”

Nacolemagee says
She right how would he feel if someone called his daughter out her name that good that a 10 year old is speaking her mind about the music that is being played around her
Dwsnthl says
I agree, hip/hop has turned to GARBAGE!!!!!! And we have too many parents, especially the younger parents, who think there is nothing wrong with letting their children listen to hip/hip. They encourage their children to “drop it like it’s hot” and other vulgar dances. Our Black people are being so mislead by their so-called peers of today. All they are teaching our children is to aspire to get money and “bling”. How about some hip/hop songs about staying in school, not getting pregnant as a teen, and working jobs?!!!!
Lilianaizawesome says
They have the right message, but to the wrong person. Lil Wayne and Wyclef ( not mentioned in the song) do alot publicly. It should be to everyone that uses stereotypes and ignorant phrases in music.
Jacquelineburnz says
It is great they can verbalize their concerns. This is the future if you are passive others will continue to disrespect you. Other kids sing his lyrics some of which show he is color struck/self/hating/stuck in the color struck wold of 1800 Creole society
Ciera says
if thiz lil 10 year old gurl iz gonna call out wayne den she mite az well call out drake, dre, snoop, lil wayne and all off dem. And dey like da best rapperz of our time! i think shes just 2 yung to even understand.
john says
Kids understand when they are being dissed. They are smarter than you realize. Maybe these rappers will learn something and stop trying to raise their self-esteem/ego by putting down females ( esp. Black ones). Like racist white who would try to claim superiority by putting down Blacks. ( same thing).
Discussion King says
Good stuff lil ladies…
Lots of negativity here… I assume they could be getting pregnant at 10 or doing anything else. I’m with it. Message is cool.
And its OK to say Wayne’s name and not everyone’s. What happened to baby steps… plus some things affect us more than others.
Peace
