Have you ever experienced being in the right place at the right time because something great happens? That’s what happened to Malcolm Mitchell, UGA football star, when he had a chance encounter with Kathy Rackley at a Barnes & Noble Bookstore.

Kathy was so excited she recently joined a book club, she shared her enthusiasm with Malcolm. To her surprise, he asked her can he join the club. Initially, she shot him down because her book club members were older women ranging from 40 – 60 years old. It’s definitely not a place where a young 20 something would want to spend his time.

Not only did he join, but he is the only male in the group. He meets every month and enjoys reading & discussing the books with his new friends.
