In several states discussion is on the table about lowering the legal drinking age from 21 to 18. In most of the places it’s being discussed the driving factor is that some think military personel 18 or over should be able to have a drink. 1. One of our baby girls turned two over the weekend. TheMom did a good  job of putting together a small scale party at a local pizza joint. All of the kids had fun and it didn’t turn into a birthday extravaganza per TheDad’s request. Job well done!

Thousands filled into Chicago’s House of Hope church yesterday to pay their last respects to comedian Bernie Mac. A private service was held the night before but this was an opportunity for his fans and community to say their last goodbyes.
Celebrities in attendance included the three other Kings of Comedy, Chicago Mayor Daley, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Don Cheadle, Samuel L. Jackson and Mac’s favorite singer Rachelle Farrell.
