All because two people fell in love…
There is a picture frame in my home with these very words on it, “All because two people fell in love”. Have you ever thought about how much life changes, all because two people fell in love? When two people connect and marry, life changes in more ways than you can imagine. You think about each other all the time. You begin to finish one another sentences. You are concerned about not only your future but the other person’s future as well. You become aware of the future of your children and even the future of your grandchildren. Your families combine. You share cousins and friends…All because two people fell in love.
Your lives are changed forever and it can be the most magnificent thing. If you are already married you can attest to these three positive changes. If you’re not married, check and see how you feel about these three and how they fit into your current relationship.
When you get married, you marry someone you can be yourself with. You don’t have to hide who you are. You have someone who sees the good in you. You have married someone who is there for the long haul to help bring out the best of you in every area.
Marriage stretches you and causes you to grow beyond where you are today. You are filled with countless potential. Marriage will draw it out. See it as a positive as you grow. Knowledge, patience, endurance, domestic skills, parenting skills, it all makes you more thoughtful and responsible – you name it and it will be drawn out of you.
Companionship and seeing beyond yourself. The unwavering companionship of your mate will allow you to think way beyond yourself. You will want to please each other and see the other person happy. The companionship is irreplaceable.
All because two people fell in love, connected and married, life is changed for the better. Marriage is a great thing, but you already know that. This is just a little reminder as we continue to stand for marriage. Together, let’s continue to show positive images of marriage.
