So it’s almost April.
Thank goodness. This 30-day challenge has worn me out.
Honestly, March was probably the worst month for me to try to do this. We moved, both of us got sick, visitors in and out, kids waking up early every single day, etc. And not to mention the fact that I became a March Madness widow.
But I tried anyway. Gave extra backrubs, ran errands when the hubby was tired, watched the kids to give him the extra alone time in the “Man Cave,” made sure I was always sweet in my tone, etc. But more often than not I seemed to fall short most days. When I woke up with ideas of what I wanted to do, life seemed to take over and I became so busy and worn out that my plans fell by the wayside. It was only when I was truly just trying to be spontaneous and kind that I succeeded in the challenge.
I’d love to have a do-over, but I think I did alright. Overall, I’d give myself about a C+. Would’ve been a B, but I said cooking and sex didn’t count. LOL.
BMWK readers, how would you grade yourselves during this challenge? Did anyone get an A?

I didn’t remember everyday but it definitely forced me to step my game up on multiple occasions during the month when I normally would not have done it. Since we both actually knew that the other person was involved to it was a good way to blackmail the other into doing something…lol. You know you’re tired at night, don’t feel like making that last trip into the kitchen then the lightbulb comes on… Did you do your one thing yet? If not I sure would like some ____ out of the kitchen and then you’ll be good. ha ha ha. We had fun with it and I might even pull a Caleb and take take the 30 day challenge to past thirty days 🙂

For some reason I haven’t been able to locate the original post on the 30-Day Challege, would you mind emailing it to me? I’d like to know what its all about. 🙂 Thanks.
