There are many book and articles on how to have a great marriage. I’ve even written a few of them. So, now I’m going to do the opposite and share what I’ve learned about behaviors that can possibly ruin your marriage. Infidelity isn’t the only thing that can ruin a marriage. There are several seemingly small things that can creep into your marriage and harm it. So, hopefully these tips will help you avoid some mistakes.

My goodness, that selfishness is something I can’t handle. It feels like your space is not validated in the relationships because they are more concerned with themselves. I can’t it hurts to bad to be with a selfish person.
That selfish thing is a nightmare, especially when they don’t see the big deal. After a conversation about how I don’t feel appreciated and that he only thinks of himself, my husband wakes up the next day makes eggs and bacon and english muffins for himself while i’m getting dressed for work upstairs. At first I was excited but my heart dropped when I realized what was happening. When I brought it to his attention he says ” i don’t see the big deal” This is the smallest of the problems, but the fact that the opportunity was missed blows my mind.

Great Great Great Article!! These things listed is a good rule of thumb to live by whether or not you should get married. A lot of women today feel that a man should be honored to be with her, do what she wants, tell their friends everything about the relationship, always making everything else a priority except him, and disrespects a man in private and public. Again, great article.

If you move into your spouses home he/she need to make sure its your home as well and not a families home who have been deceased.
Hanging around single minded friends. Single minded friends can be married or single, either way, if they do not respect marriage, then it can cause problems.
Always putting the children first and neglecting your spouse.
Not talking to each other. Lack of communication is a negative on a marriage.
I have that same problem. Kids from a previous relationship along with
there mama’s can make a relationship hard. Even feeling guilty about not being around and not listening to your spouse can cause problems.
