A graduate of Howard University and Seton Hall University School of Law, Paulette Brown was recently named president-elect of the American Bar Association.
Brown, who was raised in Baltimore and has been practicing law for 38 years, is the first Black female to hold this title and is committed to letting young people know that they too can hold a position like this in the future.
Currently a labor and employment law partner in New Jersey, Brown will serve as president-elect for the ABA, a 400,000 member organization, for a year. She will fully take over the position of president in August, 2015.
