The star caught flack for her seemingly loopy appearance, made-up words, and occasional incoherent ramblings during the two-hour segment. Actor Samuel L. Jackson is slated to be part of the production of the live action film version of the animated series Afro Samurai. Based on the fictional lead, Afro Samurai’s, quest for revenge after witnessing his father’s murder, Jackson lent his voice to the title character in the anime series, television movie, and video game. Bishop TD Jakes hit New Orleans with actors Blair Underwood and Pam Grier to film his new movie On the Seventh Day. The sequel to Jakes’ 2004 film Woman Thou Art Loosed is the story of a husband and wife and their spiritual and emotional journey as they search for their missing daughter.
