Wow! We’re halfway through the our Disney Living Challenge. If you’re just tuning in, for the past five weeks we’ve been working to create healthy lifestyle habits for our children in ways that think are fun. Our goal is that they’ll hopefully carry these healthy habits on into the future as they grow.
We’ve partnered with Disney Living to explore fun ways to do this. Through this partnership with Disney Living we’re going to bring you 12 weeks of challenges that will hopefully assist and inspire you to make healthy changes for your children. During the process we’ll share great information (and products too) that can help you along the way.
This week’s challenge is near and dear to my heart, it’s… bath time! Now I have a special feeling about bath time because we’re almost done doing it. Our two youngest are 3 and 5 and they still get a nightly bath but every now and then they ask for showers. Our oldest daughter is 9 and has been taking showers on her own for a while now (struggling to remember at what age she started). So I’ve come to the realization that in a few years we won’t be giving baths anymore. I’m pretty happy about that as the mental countdown continues but a part of me will be sad to see my little girls grow.
Well in the meantime as we do continue to give baths (we’re a bath time team) Disney Living has provided some great products that will make it an extremely enjoyable experience for the kiddies. Here are a few tips to make your bath time more enjoyable and a treat instead of a task:
- Transition play time to bath time by allowing your kids to pick out which bath toys they want to play with
- Allow extra time in your nightly routine for fun in the bathtub. If we set the kids up with their bubble bath they’re going to be a while.
- Let your kids pick a shampoo or body wash with their favorite Disney character and create a story to make bath time more fun
Here are a few of the products that are in the picture above:
MZ Berger Bubble Bath: This line of bubble baths comes in Disney ·Pixar Cars and Disney Princess-adorned bottles, promising to leave a wave of smiles in its wake.
MZ Berger Body Wash: Get ready, get set! Tots will be racing to the tub to clean up with these body washes, which feature Disney Princesses and Disney ·Pixar Cars characters.
Just Play Cars Character Sponge: Your kids will soak up tons of tub-time excitement when they’ve got this Disney ·Pixar Cars bath sponge in hand.
MZ Berger Disney Fairies themed bubble bath decanter: A great way to add some whimsy to bath time. This Tinker Bell themed decanter will definitely grab the attention of young girls.
