On Thursday, November 12th we held our second DC screening of Happily Ever After: A Positive Image of Black Marriage. The screening was held at the historic Avalon Theatre and was followed by a panel discussion on marriage in the black community. Check out the pictures from a great evening.

What a powerful and positive event! Attending the screening was time well spent. My people LOVED the t-shirts!
Dr. Dwella Motn Nelson says
This was a GREAT opportunity to try to solve some of the issues that we have in our community. It brought some pertinent issues to the forefront: children not living with both parents (the negative effects), marriages not being a priority to our people, and the absence of positive married black folks as role models for what IS possible (PURE Black Love). Both my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this documentary, and we look forward to supporting your future projects.
God bless,
Robert and Dwella Nelson
