President Barack Obama joined Twitter yesterday and he almost broke the internet.

Hello, Twitter! It’s Barack. Really! Six years in, they’re finally giving me my own account.

In addition to posting straight up witty tweets, the president broke a record, according to Guinness World Records. 

@POTUS reached one million followers on the social media site in record time, beating out Ironman star Robert Downey Jr., who previously owned the title.
