After vising Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta to perform our Miracle Mission a few months back Ronnie and I were so moved by the work that they are doing that we became part of their social media ambassador team. We really want to support their efforts and highlight the amazing work that they are doing for children that live throughout the south eastern portion of the United States. We recently became aware of an awesome way that we can support them and the children there and it won’t cost you anything other than a few clicks and a few moments of your time.
Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta has teamed up with the Verizon Foundation to launch a digital campaign connecting community members with kids in the hospital this holiday season. On November 3, Children’s launched its “Share” Campaign, asking the community to send a message of encouragement to the patients staying at the hospitals during this holiday season. Our goal is to receive 1,280 messages (1,280 being the projected number of inpatients expected in the last two weeks of the year.) All you have to do is go to ShareWithChildrens.org and enter your message in the box that looks like this:
Children’s will broadcast the messages to patients via closed-circuit TVs in the hospitals during the last two weeks of the year. Verizon Foundation is matching every view of our “Share” video which you can see below with a $1 donation, up to $25,000. Send a message, give a donation, spread the word. Make a difference.
Visit ShareWithChildrens.org for more information on the campaign, how to submit messages and how to donate. Don’t forget to view the video below before you leave, it’s worth one dollar!

I watched the video! Some times i have rough days but when i look at these children i think about how fortunate I am. It is in these moments that i realize i don’t have a right to complain about what i am going through because someone somewhere may be going through a worse situation than i am.
