Sheryl Underwood recently proved herself to be a real class act when she shared a personal experience and the mature way in which she handled it on The Talk.

In this clip Sheryl goes into detail about the ugly that sometimes occurs behind the scenes in business and entertainment amongst women. I was moved to tears after viewing this video. Although we know it exists, how often do we actually get to experience/hear other women tearing us down? What I am not sure of is whether or not I would have responded the same way Sheryl did. This video brings up the frequently asked question, why as women are we so hurtful toward one another? Why aren’t we more willing to support, encourage and build each other up? There is plenty enough opportunity for everyone. We actually need each other, and I hope we arrive at that understanding sooner rather than later.
Even if there is criticism or feedback, does it have to be done so distastefully?
What I enjoyed most about this video, is the honesty. I think we can all learn a lesson from how Sheryl turned that negativity into a positive. It’s an amazing feat to take something painful and use it to your advantage. Kudos to Sheryl!

She handled it perfectly. Sheryl is definitely a class act. Karma has taken care of the situation. She is more successful than all of those comedians!

Kirstin, I was thinking the exact same thing. Plus she could’ve actually said that and chose not to.

Love Sheryl Underwood, YOU ROCK! When you know who you are, confident, self loving and have a plan there’s nothing anyone can say or do to deter you from reaching your goals.

Yes Ms. I completely agree!
