Sex is an important part of marriage. I know that. My husband knows that. But yet and still, our sex life suffers from time to time because of crazy schedules, parenting responsibilities, and life in general. It takes work and a joint, concerted effort to keep the intimacy thriving in a marriage.

After giving Beyonce’s hot, new album a few good blasts through my speakers, I was left inspired to breathe life into the bedroom sheet situation in my home! Let me warn you: if you haven’t heard it yet, the album is sexually explicit and definitely NSFW (not safe for work)! But if you play some of these tracks on your way home from work, now that’s a different story! You’ll be ready to greet your boo at the door and make some magic happen.

But I was pleasantly surprised to see this more sultry side of Beyonce and am appreciative of the reminder that when put as a priority, marital sex can (and should) be fun, hot and steamy! I’m sure my husband will agree that the $16 I spent on this album was well worth every penny.
