There was buzz awhile back about placing a woman on the U.S. currency. That died down, or so we thought! Now, we hear our Harriet Tubman (our home girl of Underground Railroad fame) will be the new face of the $20 bill. Not only did they grab a woman; they chose an unapologetic, pistol-packing, freedom-demanding, legendary abolitionist black woman.
Jackson, who has been on the $20 bill since 1928, has an ugly history so this switch up should be welcomed by many.
