A Financial Advisor One of the biggest conflicts in marriage is over finances, yet most of us still go into it with our eyes wide shut, and in many ways I understand why. Many of us haven’t even navigated making major purchases and financial decisions–like home buying and planning for retirement—by ourselves by the time we get married, so making them with someone else can be exponentially more difficult. Working out a budget, putting things like retirement accounts and insurance in place can be daunting enough that a lot of couples never quite get it done right. I know from experience that getting your money right early on can spare you a lot of the headache and heartache of trying to do it a few years in.

These are 3 gifts that I have never thought of but definitely would’ve been and still could be very helpful in my marriage.
Great ideas! Looking back, in addition to Premarital Counselling, Marital Counselling immediately after our wedding would have helped stabilize initial adjustment bumps and help make our 27 year journey smoother! I now know what to ‘shop’ for for a lasting wedding gift! Thanks a lot A. D. Jackson!
