It’s “˜Blended Family’ week here at BMWK and we have a few (well just two for now”...LOL) ideas for vacations that are sure to be great family fun and create lasting memories for any blended family.
When planning a vacation for a blended family you have to consider the likes and dislikes of every family member and of course your budget. Before you hold that family meeting to discuss the next family vacation consider these two options.
First”...consider a visit to a family resort. Family resorts cater to the vacation dreams of the entire family and are usually located on a beautiful Caribbean island. Two of the most popular family resorts are Beaches Resorts and Atlantis Paradise Island. Beaches Resorts has wonderful family resorts in Jamaica and Turks and Caicos. Everyone in the family will enjoy the beautiful white sandy beaches, the luxury rooms & suites and the endless dining/meal options. While Moms & Dads enjoy a round or two of golf or visits to the Red Lane Spa, kids will have their fill of beach volleyball and soccer, reggae jam sessions, kids’ camp and scavenger hunts. If that doesn’t make them happy they can play the day away at the exclusive Xbox lounge.
In addition to being a fabulous couples retreat, Atlantis Paradise Island is also a family playground. Even the pickiest of kids will find something to love on vacation at Atlantis. Kids can choose from the interactive game lounge, Atlantis Kids Adventures (AKA), joining a 3-ring circus, or visiting Lego Construction world. Give them the experience of the summer with a visit to Dolphin Cay where they can swim with the dolphins.
Save up to 65% on your blended family vacation at Beaches Resorts and Atlantis Paradise Island. For more information visit www.beaches.com and www.atlantis.com.

We just came back from the Bahamas and a tour of Atlantis. I agree that there will be something for everyone if you choose to vacation their. I like the point of your article..and that is to try to include everyone in the planning of the vacation.

My family just got back from staying in Martha’s Vineyard Rentals. It was so great! There was a lot to do out there, and we even managed to get the kids excited about museums.

These are great tips. I’ll definitely keep this post in mind next time I am planning a family vacation. Recently we went on a trip to go surfing in Nicaragua. It was awesome. By far te best surfing spot I have ever been to. Thanks for the post.
