Tondaleya Robinson, a mother of three and widow, went back to school three years ago to earn her college degree. Imagine her surprise when her youngest son, a U.S Marine, was there to embrace her and hand her the degree she waited over 20 years to earn.
Cpl. Paul Robinson’s mother had no idea that he would be able to make it to her graduation. The young man says that his mother has been one of his biggest inspirations and that he joined the Marines to honor his late father who always dreamed of serving his country.
23-year-old Robinson truly surprised his mother and when he arrived on stage his mother’s reaction was priceless. The West Philadelphia mom told ABC News, “I was crying. I was jumping. I was shaking. I could not believe it. I said, ‘Oh you got me on that one.'”
Congratulations are in order for Mrs. Robinson. We are sure her late husband would have been proud. Click here to watch the video and see her reaction when her son surprises her.
