A little more than a week ago, there was a golf charity event held at an Elks Lodge in Glendale, California for about 50-60 people. A good percentage of the people in attendance, were retired police officers. I am assuming that’s the only reason Gary Fishell, a P.I and former employee of the Federal Government, thought creating his own version of “Bad, Bad Leroy Brown” to “He’s Dead, Dead Michael Brown” would be funny.
Of course, you can’t go anywhere these days without someone pulling out their phone recording devices. Thanks to someone recording him, we get to hear first hand Gary Fishell’s, horrible rendition of “He’s Dead, Dead Michael Brown.”
Here are the lyrics:
Michael Brown learned a lesson about a messin’
With a badass policeman
And he’s bad, bad Michael Brown
Baddest thug in the whole damn town
Badder than old King Kong
Meaner than a junkyard dog
Two men took to fightin’
And Michael punched in through the door
And Michael looked like some old Swiss cheese
His brain was splattered on the floor
And he’s dead, dead Michael Brown
Deadest man in the whole damn town
His whole life’s long gone
Deader than a roadkill dog
Joe Myers tells TMZ, “How can I dictate what he [Fishell] says in a song?” Myers goes on, “This is America. We can say what we want. This is a free America.”
