Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas talks about her faith in this video that was recorded prior to her departure for the Olympic games. In the video, Gabby talks about prayer and scripture and how important faith is in her life.
Each morning she would awake, looking for a morning scripture from her mother, and if she didn’t have it she would hound her for it.
“She would send me a long email right before I got on the bus [for practice], and I would just mediate on that.”
