Have you ever been strolling through your news feed on Facebook and came across a highly emotional, inappropriate, belligerent rant from one of your friends? Unfortunately, I have and it’s quite awkward. It isn’t clear if those individuals realize what that looks like to the rest of us. The truth is, we only see their side and we haven’t a clue as to what this person hopes to accomplish with their comments. We can’t assist them because we don’t have the full context of the situation and many of us only view it as pure entertainment; which I’m positive wasn’t the original goal.
Believe me, we all understand relationship frustrations. But there is a better way to handle them, and blasting your boo on Facebook isn’t one. Furthermore, the consequences for this behavior can be quite significant.
