How many pictures do you have of just the two of you, when you’re not at your wedding, or with the kids, or dressed up to go to someone else’s wedding? Where are the fun “we were just hanging around the house” pictures that you can look back at and laugh? Go look – we’ll wait.
If you can count on one hand the number of pictures you have, it’s time to incorporate the camera into your daily life a bit more than you do now. To kick things off, grab a camera (yes, it can even be one of those $5 wind-up cameras from the drugstore) and get ready for your close-up. It’s 2011 – do you not want your kids to be able to look back and say, “Wow, Mom and Dad looked really happy together – on a regular ol’ Tuesday.”
Get silly, have fun with it. (Maybe you could post a few on the Happily Ever After Facebook page.) The whole point of the exercise is to create new memories and laugh together. Surely we could all use that, right?

Man you really took it there. A photo shoot. I don’t even like taking pictures for my driver’s license (which is partly why it is expired. I’m kidding. Sort of.) #The things we do for love.

We take pictures all the time…I try to get family photos 3 times a year and during the shoot we take some by ourselves. My hubby hates taking them, but he does it for me….
