Mark Halperin, editor-at-large at Time, and also an MSNBC political analyst, made an inappropriate on-air remark about President Obama during Morning Joe, after talking about the president’s conduct during a press conference.
“I thought he was being a d%$k yesterday,” Halperin said.
He immediately apologized on air, and hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski looked taken aback.
MSNBC later released a statement:
“”Mark Halperin’s comments this morning were completely inappropriate and unacceptable. We apologize to the President, The White House and all of our viewers. We strive for a high level of discourse and comments like these have no place on our air. Therefore, Mark will be suspended indefinitely from his role as an analyst.” {Full story}

This was inappropriate! Anytime the press speaks publically about the President of the United States it should be with respect and honor for them simply due to the office they hold asu00a0the leaderu00a0of our great nation!! MSNBC acted quickly and has made it clear that this was unacceptable. I only wish they would have done the same when G. W. Bush was called an idot and a moron! Democrat or Republican, agree or disagree with the President, what kind of country do we look like to others when we rip our leaders publically? In situations like these, we DON’T look to be “United” or “Indivisible”u00a0to the rest of the world…u00a0
