Yesterday, I came across a couple each wearing a ‘Navy Dad’ and ‘Navy Mom’ sweatshirt respectively. I cheered them on all the while being grateful for being a ‘Navy Wife’. All too often, it’s easy to forget our freedoms have been bought at a high price.
There are men and women who serve our country tirelessly every day. Many times we don’t know their names or where they are from. What we do know is that we are still privileged to live under the banner of freedom that they selflessly provide.
Today is a day that we honor them. Today is the day we say thank you!
