A 52 year old woman with a deadly leukemia prognosis had one of her wishes come true most recently thanks to staff at Kentucky’s University Hospital. According to Nurse Melissa Pritchett, “One of her wishes was to get married before her time was up.” The hospital put together a wedding ceremony so that Evonne Lee and her partner of eight years Don Tyler could exchange nuptials. According to Tyler, he and Lee had decided they were “in it for life” when they first got together.
“I know I don’t have long to live,” says Lee. “But the time I have, I will still enjoy.”
The day was filled with family, friends, and love. Take a look at the video below:

I agree. I doubt if I would be touched by someone marrying me when they know I am about to die. Especially if they have had ample years of my being in good health to do it….

How do you know it wasn’t her who didn’t want to get married all these years?

Congratulations to the couple, but I also agree with previous writer,it’s good you took the inititive to make her wish come true but what happen in those eight years that you could have had some real quality time to enjoy. Praise God for the HOSPITAL that made her wish come to past. I pray you’re able to enjoy sometime together.
