LeBron James has supersized his superstardom for sure! In what I am sure is one for the record books, the all star, all heart Cleveland Cavelier and his Lebron James Foundation has teamed up with University of Akron in Akron, Ohio to sponsor full ride scholarships for thousands of students who plan to attend the University.
The first wave of students, now 7th graders, number over 1100. According to James, who considers himself “just a kid from Ohio,” every child who finishes his “I Promise” Program will earn a free ride to UA. Now, that’s what I’m talking about!
BMWK, all hail the king?
Every single kid who finish my program will go to college for FREE! #Tryingtomakeadifference @LJFamFoundation
