Mary J. Blige was over in the UK promoting her upcoming album, My Life II: The Journey Continues and gave fans a taste of what to expect from the queen.

“It’s me singing to my younger self, who was hurting so bad,” Mary said. “I’m so happy she has grown to love herself…I was thinking about how me and how hurt I was.”
