The trio is back and looking like ain’t a thang changed. Hitting us with a 90s melody and visuals that look like their earlier cuts, we’re happy to see some 90s “girl groups” back on the scene. Check out the video and let us know how you like the song.
VIDEO: SWV’s Back With “Co-Sign”

*Rolls Eyes and sighs….
I may be one of the few people who gets annoyed when groups from back in the day attempt to make a come back. I don’t know, but something about it just screams desperation to remain relevant….that you are flat broke….or both. To me girl groups are for…well, girls. Grown women knocking on 40 still in a girl group, still singing about things that girls sing about is silly to me. Seriously, 20 years later they should be more evolved and beyond these juvenile lyrics. Maybe they are trying to appeal to a younger crowd, but trust me when I say it won’t work. Young people are interested in Rihanna, Katy Perry and the likes, not three cougars who are trying to hard to relate to them.40 year olds, singing about 20 year old problems is equivalent to 40 year olds shopping in the jr. section at the mall….silly. If your ship has come and sailed then please let it sail, let the new artist shine, after all it’s their turn! I was looking at some clips of the recent New Edition concerts and those guys look worn out, old, and bloated! Please take a bow and sit down somewhere. Ive always thought that a happy medium for artist to remain relevant and in the industry is to transition in to producing new artist.

It nice to see a group from the 90’s back. When I use to work in the record industry they were highly popular and they were very missed. I hope they find much success this time around like they did in the 90’s.
Whoever wrote that first one up above needs to go jump in a lake and drown :::: Those groups represent what’s soooooo missing today in today’smusic and none of the girls from SWV was broke. One continued with gospel albums inwhich all went to #1 , the other did a few books , married herself a BALLA , and the other had her own production company :::: These are the same ladies that gave Beyonce her first oppurtunity to do a national tour by letting DC opening up for them :
So before you bash those that paved the way , remember the ones they brought with them. Not only did SWV gave Destiny’s Child their first national tour they also brought Christina Agulaira to RCA Records :
And who said music was just limited for 25 & under…Whoever wrote that first sh#t might’ve been born no later than 1998 ::: Go do your homework SON ::: Let these people do what they cause ain’t nothing out there for you youngstas musically is trash : The ones coming out now , can’t get on stage 3, 5, 10 years from now , because their simple minded music and songs is forgotten months after they come out ::
Actually, you should be the one who jumps in a lake and drowns for being silly enough to not respect a difference of opinion. The lyrics are juvenile IMO. Comebacks frequently seem desperate IMO. This is a blog that allows you to express opinions, stop getting so worked up over another persons opinion. Seriously, you expressing yours, while throwing daggers, still doesn’t change mine. Grow up…..
I like it I think because I loved them back in the day and it sounds like all their old stuff. I’m glad they let Lee Lee sing lead. I don’t ever remember hearing her voice back in the day.
Opinion is your viewpoint. And everyone has one. Gives these ladies a chance. Record companies are to blame for the lack of real soul music in circulation. Their song familiarizes us with what they use to bring Im their other singles will have a better mature message.
One thing I can honestly say is that music from back in the day is more music to my ears then some of the stuff that’s out today. Music back then was simple but from the heart, and not so superficial. I Loved SWV back then, and love their album now!!!!!
