Sometimes you do have to reinvent yourself. I will have to let this song grow on me. The accent throws me off.
@Anna – not buying the accent Mon? On a side note we have a great BMWK TV that will be on the site tomorrow. Make sure you check it out.
TheMoms last blog post..Things People With Kids Like To Do: Live Black History
I will check it out Mon.
I like it a lot. The overweight lover is looking much leaner, too. Good for him. That means he’ll be living longer and giving us more good music.

Um.. I wish his voice matched the music. 🙂
<— needs to grown on him also.
Not bad though. Seeing it performed with live band would be nice.
Uhmm . . . it sounds like ya’ll are not long time Heavy D fans. He’s been doing songs like this for a while. He’s been talking about doing a full dancehall CD way back in the late 90’s but it never happened till now. But Hev has some classics with Super Cat, Junior Brown and a number of others. Heavy D is just in a position where he can do exactly what he wants to do the way he wants to do it.
BMWK, enjoying the site.
VEe!s last blog post..The Predator
I heard he is Jamaican so it’s basicalling him going back to his roots. I haven’t heard it yet though. I’ll have to give it a listen.
All I have to say is wow…
Brilliant song! I really like it!
Yes, he was Jamaican. RIP Heavy!
Just 44. That’s way too young to die. RIP
