On last night’s episode of Being Mary Jane, Mary Jane’s friend and sidekick, Kara experienced a challenge many have faced in their relationships. Kara’s love interest, Orlando is an attractive, professional athlete, (some would call him the total package.) However, he is unable to satisfy her sexually. And for Kara, that is a problem.
In her very own tell-it-like-it-is way, Kara let him know that he was not performing the way she needed or desired for him to perform. Surprisingly, he took the news in stride and was willing to work it out to please Kara. I applaud Orlando because Kara’s tone and approach were a little emasculating. Most men would have walked away and never returned, but not Orlando; he was willing to give it a try.
4 Ways to Tell Your Man the Sex is Not Good Without Offending Him
Although her approach might not have been as loving and sensitive to his feelings as it could have been, Kara did provide four ways to work with your mate to gain the satisfaction you desire.
Be Honest
Kara didn’t pretend that everything was okay. She took the time to be honest with Orlando and to explain that she was not satisfied. To ensure he understood, she supplied him with examples of how he was missing the mark sexually. Kara’s honesty allowed them to discuss the problem and make the necessary adjustments.
Provide a Demonstration
Kara took the time to explain what she wanted from Orlando. Also, she reinforced the lesson by providing a prop along with instructions on how she desired for him to perform. Giving him a visual demonstration enabled Orlando to practice and perfect his technique.
Be More Dominant
When it seemed that Orlando still didn’t understand, Kara took his hand and guided him through the process. In doing so, he was able to experience what brings her pleasure.
Be Patient
Due to his haste, Orlando continued to encounter a few challenges. Kara patiently walked him through step by step, and finally, they were able to reach their ultimate goal.
If you find yourself in this predicament, show your mate love and compassion. Choose to be respectful of their feelings and be willing to work with them so that you both can reach your ultimate goal. Although you are seeking sexual fulfillment, don’t hurt or destroy someone else, so that you can be satisfied.
Choose your words wisely and with care. Your actions will determine the future of your relationship.
BMWK, how would you have this conversation without offending your man? Fellas, we want to hear from you too? What did you think of Kara’s approach?
