This track isn’t your ordinary rap song, it’s an inspirational crossover ballad that will sooth the soul of the listener. The chorus is sung by Daniel’s mother and world renowned Gospel writer and artist, Jackie Gouché. She wrote the Worldwide gospel worship anthem “My Help”, that was recorded by herself, CeCe Winans and Brooklyn Tabernacle.
“I am blessed to be a mother of four beautiful boys. God forbid that someone would fail to see the value in their lives,” Gouché says.
The video was brought into the classrooms of Westchester High School in Los Angeles, CA and it has sparked discussions amongst the students. “The song was very emotional. It gave me hope in humanity. The video was a great tribute to Trayvon and Mike,” says a sophomore student from Westchester who viewed the video.
