I will let you know now that I intentionally left of things like appearance because most of you already understand that men are very visual. When I measure myself against this list, I can see how much I have grown over the last few years. I am on God’s timing and this list reminds me that I’m also on the right path. Excellent read!
I agree Renee, I am still working on many of the things on this list, but it has been hard, and as some have said, when you grow up without a father figure it makes the whole dating thing 10x harder. But with the help of the Lord, I’m trying to get on the right path, it just feels like it’s going to take forever!

I was laid off my job about 5/mo ago.
I am single,
60, a good woman so all my friends and I agree. Ive had several date offers that I turned down because Im unemployed.
I feel so inadequate even dating, not to mention to start a relationship.I have income that ppl draw.I am working on obtaining my degree in Bus Adm
and looking for work as well. I’m always honest and upfront. I have an upcoming date
feeling a bit apprehensive, but I’m ma take a leap of faith Trust God! He knows knows my heart desires…I declare fear will no longer hold me hostage. Amen!
I hope you have found a job but if not something will click for you. Stay in prayer. I would have gone on the dates despite being unemployed, Ive been in that situation. If they want to know what your job is tell them its finding a job and going to school. A date doesnt equal a relationship. enjoy the company and the experience of the moment. if they judge you by the job you have or dont have, they are not worth your time anyway. But if they enjoy your company and want to know you as a person thats where a friendship and possible relationship can grow. Life is too short not to enjoy all it has to offer. Dont wait for everything to be perfect, we only have right now! God Bless You!?
