For Angela and Willie Gillis loving one another is the easy part. They’ve been doing it for years first as best friends and now as husband and wife. According to an article by CNN, “their individual strengths balance the other’s weakness.” They have what most couples strive to have in the sense that they balance each other. The balance that they share is something that hasn’t just helped their marriage but it has helped them with regards to their health as well. Together, with a lot of hard work they were able to lose a combined total of 500 pounds.

A few days before their first wedding anniversary, Willie woke up and told his wife, “I’m tired of being big.” He had just gotten back from visiting his newborn goddaughter and was scared he might not live long enough to see her grow up.
